International Firefighters\u2019 Day is observed each May 4th. You should remember the firefighters who have died while serving. It is also a time to show our support and appreciation to the firefighters who protect us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The blue and red ribbons pinned together show our gratitude to firefighters everywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The colors are red for fire and blue for water. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
