Callaway FIRE DEPARTMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely and sudden passing of Callaway Firefighter Thomas Schouviller. Tom joined the Callaway Fire Department in Jan 1st of 2004. Firefighter Schouviller could always be counted on to be one of the first at the Hall and have the bay doors open and trucks running when everyone showed up. Plus it assured him his favorite job of driving the tender. Tom always had a smirk on his face and was always the first one to show up to wash trucks for any event. Tom enjoyed farming with his brother on there 3rd generation family farm. Tom Was always willing to help in anyway he could. If you needed something and he had it to give he would without hesitation. Firefighter Schouviller will be missed by his family and community. <\/strong>Our thoughts a prayers are with Firefighter Schouviller family and friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All Minnesota Firefighters are invited to support Firefighter Schouviller’s family and celebrate his life. There will be a Sea of Blue at the graveside. A You are welcome to bring fire apparatus for the procession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thomas Charles Schouviller was born on June 4, 1974 to Albert and Marjory (LaRue) in Detroit Lakes, MN. He was the youngest of four siblings. He went to school in Detroit Lakes, and graduated from Detroit Lakes High School with the class of 1992. After high school, he furthered his education at M-State graduating with a degree in autobody. After graduating from college, he worked for Vareberg autobody and the Pelican turkey plant before working on the family farm fulltime in 1995.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thomas was known as a very happy go lucky kind of guy and he has never met a stranger! He loved working on the farm with his brother Dennis. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, and visiting with his family and friends. Thomas loved working with wood, creating and building things. He was an avid collector of model international tractors. Thomas was an active member of the volunteer Calaway Fire Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is survived by his siblings William (Lisa) Schouviller, Sue Schouviller, and Dennis Schouviller; nephews William, Matthew, Douglas and Andrew; his large extended family and friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Marjory; numerous aunts and uncles and extended family.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
