It is with deep sadness that we announce the Line of Duty Death of Fridley Fire Chief Mike Spencer. Chief Spencer succumbed to a medical emergency on Saturday, Sept. 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tentative arrangements are a visitation on Monday, Sept 21, and Funeral Mass on Tuesday, Sept. 22. More details to come later this week. There will be a private burial. There will be no truck procession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We would ask that all uniform personnel wear a mourning band on their badge until after the funeral on Tuesday, Sept. 22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
