The objectives of the Minnesota Fallen Firefighters Memorial Association (MFFMA) are:

  1. The organization is to maintain a corps of trained personnel who will be able to provide funeral-planning assistance to any Minnesota Fire Department, Funeral Home Director, and/or family members for a Firefighter who has died in the line of duty or as a result of an injury or illness sustained in the line of duty.
  2. The organization is to maintain a corps of trained personnel who will be able to perform as a Ceremonial Honor Guard for funeral services of a Firefighter, who has died in the line of duty or as a result of an injury or illness sustained in the line of duty.
  3. The organization is to maintain a corps of trained personnel who will be able to assist the family in obtaining benefits from both state and federal agencies.
  4. The organization is to maintain a corps of trained personnel who will be able to assist and instruct Minnesota Fire Department personnel who are interested in forming an Honor Guard, upon the approval of the Board of Directors.
