Erin Michael Fitzpatrick was born February 26, 1973 to Lyndon and Denise (Ohm) Fitzpatrick in Madison, MN.

 He was baptized in Christian Faith at St John’s Lutheran Church in Marietta on April 1, 1973. He was confirmed at St John’s Lutheran Church in May of 1987. He graduated from Lac Qui Parle Valley High School in May of 1991. He was part of the first graduating class of LQPVHS and was the Student Council Representative for the Marietta School. After graduation, he attended Minnesota West Community and Technical College in Canby, MN where he studied Diesel Mechanics for 2 years and then went another year where he studied Diesel Pumps and Injector Technologies. After graduating, he went to work for Modern Farm Equipment in Sauk Centre, MN. After 2 years, he started working for Matterns Diesel which became DK Diesel in Montevideo, MN. He enjoyed working there for over 25 years.

Erin became a Volunteer Fireman in 1994 with the Marietta Fire Department

Erin spent his free time doing many outdoor activities. He most enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, and many years of being a wrench man for the Wildung Race Team. He would help friends with spring and fall farming projects. And willing to help anyone with mechanical projects such as demo cars. Erin also enjoyed just hanging out with friends or playing on dart and bowling leagues.

Erin is survived by his parents Lyndon and Denise Fitzpatrick, 2 sisters Megan Fitzpatrick and Holly (Neal) DePestel and a nephew Aiden DePestel and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Erin was proceeded in death by grandparents Bud and Bettye Ohm and John and Margaret Fitzpatrick. Uncles Shannon Fitzpatrick and Roger Allen. In addition to, close friend Mike Kittleson.
