International Firefighters’ Day is observed each May 4th. You should remember the firefighters who have died while serving. It is also a time to show our support and appreciation to the firefighters who protect us.
The blue and red ribbons pinned together show our gratitude to firefighters everywhere.
The colors are red for fire and blue for water.
