The Dakota County Fair is bringing in the “Stephen Siller Tunnel to Tower Foundation 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit” on Aug. 6-8.
The exhibit includes a 53-foot tractor trailer transforms into a 1,000 square foot exhibit floor featuring artifacts and interactive educational elements to remember the historic day. Steel beams from the towers, documentary videos, and recordings of first-responder radio transmissions will all be available for viewing and listening as part of the exhibit.
Welcomed around the country, from the Black Hills of South Dakota to the Tennessee State Fairgrounds, the memorial provides interactive education; including artifacts such as steel beams from the towers, documentary videos, and recordings of first responder radio transmissions. Interactive guided tours are carried out by FDNY firefighters who provide firsthand accounts of the day and its aftermath. The 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit, which has traveled to nearly 30 states and Canada, has welcomed in over 250,000 people to date.
The 9/11 Mobile Exhibit will be at The Dakota County Fair on August 6, 2018 from noon – 8:00 pm; Tuesday August 7th at 10:00 am to 8:00 pm; and Wednesday August 8th from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.
